Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Swapnil Saikhedkar, has been appointed Medical Superintendent at Rao Nursing Home since January 2025. Before becoming a Medical Superintendent, he was the Head Medical Administrator at the Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences in Bhuj, Gujarat.

With 14 years of extensive experience in military leadership and healthcare management, he has refined his skills in developing and supporting multidisciplinary, high-performance teams.

His exceptional leadership is evident in his capacity to resolve conflicts and enhance team performance. He ensures high-quality care that adheres to NABH standards, optimises resource management and fosters team development to improve patient outcomes. In 2020, he was awarded the Armed Forces Medical College Gold Medal for MD in Physiology.
